About Abigail

Owner & Registered BAS Agent, Abigail Burton, has been working in administration since she started volunteering in her local church office 12 years ago.

She completed her Certificate IV in financial services - bookkeeping in 2012 and started with her own clients in 2013.

Soon after she became a Pure Bookkeeping Licensee and with the system and procedures in place, her business continues to grow all the time.

She has three children and after the birth of her second, Abigail brought on two new bookkeepers to work for her, giving her the ability to continually take on clients.

She is also a MYOB Bookkeeping Partner, Certified Xero Consultant, and a workflow max advisor.

Team Standards

Learning from the mistakes made by other bookkeeping practices, we needed a procedure to separate the good bookkeepers from the bad.

We use the Pure Bookkeeping Skills assessments to ensure the applicant is proficient in the software and general bookkeeping, we use a speed assessment to ensure they are quick and accurate. This process means when we sit down with the candidate for an interview, we have filtered out the inexperienced bookkeepers and those that have picked up bad bookkeeping practices.

Before starting work with us, team members are also required to complete The Pure Bookkeeping Training Modules - learning to do things the Pure Bookkeeping way.

  • Minimum of Cert IV in Finance-Bookkeeping
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Successfully completed The Pure Bookkeeping Skills Assessment & The Pure Bookkeeping Training Module
  • Working with Registered BAS Agents (?)
